Life is changing rapidly and organisational life is deeply affected, impacting both business and individual performance. We all know this, so what can we do about it?
We’re offering a FREE management focused seminar during which our two speakers will discuss with you 20 key points that all modern managers absolutely, positively have to know.
Kate’s the first speaker and she’ll be talking delegates through the changes in the law, including a range of relevant case law. Changes/issues covered will include:
If delegates have any special interest areas Kate will cover as many of those as she can.
Our second speaker, Paul Matthews, is the Managing Director of People Alchemy Ltd which he founded after a distinguished career in a cross-section of industries, during which time he held many positions, including senior posts in sales, customer service and operations, finishing at director level in a multinational IT company.
He then founded People Alchemy Ltd and provided consultancy, coaching and development for individuals and teams to many high profile organisations, including Barclay’s Bank Plc, Credit Suisse First Boston bank, Philips Semiconductors, General Motors, Roche, Deutsche Bank, Zurich Insurance, Ricoh, West Midlands Police and The Open University.
Paul has an uncanny ability to see through complexity and get to the real heart of an issue and it is this that has led him to develop solutions based around tackling the cause of problems rather than just the symptoms.
Paul has seen and been through the difficulties wrought by change and re-organisation. The impact of this reaches far deeper than most people realise and throws up some very specific challenges, especially for managers in the middle tiers. Paul will explain this knock-on effect, and give you some valuable insights on how to deal with the inevitable fallout.
Who should attend?Line Managers and HR Advisors alike will benefit from this practical seminar. This event is for you if you want to:

At Russell Personnel & Training we are always looking for ways of adding value to our service, so this event is FREE. We’ll even provide you with a free buffet lunch. We only ask that if you wish to reserve a place you make a donation to charity Willen Hospice, suggested amount of £10.The reason for this is that sometimes people agree to go to free events – and then just don’t turn up. That’s pretty annoying for the people on the ‘wait’ list who have been denied the chance to come along. Research shows that there’s more of a commitment when a small donation is made.
Spaces are limited to 45, and currently we have reservations for 35. You can register your interest by simply calling 0845 644 8955 or emailing
April 2008 - Dynamic duo - Dogs for the Disabled
Latest news from our friends at Dogs for the Disabled reveals that Gallagher (still looking extremely noble) has been placed with his new owner Clare. The accompanying photo was taken at the Dogs’ training centre where Clare and Gallagher passed out from their training with flying colours recently.
Good luck to both and we hope to hear from Clare from time to time to let us know how they’re getting on.
